Job Overview
We are expanding our operations and need reliable drivers to transport goods across the Southeast. Whether you are driving local routes or regional hauls, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Inspect vehicles prior to departure and upon arrival to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
- Manage paperwork, including delivery receipts, bills of lading, and mileage logs, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, both on and off the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of cargo and other road users.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements (Hazmat or Tanker preferred but not required).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
