Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
