Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) on assigned routes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Secure cargo properly and perform necessary weight calculations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and logbook regulations.
