Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to meet scheduled delivery timelines.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are properly secured and handled with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and all necessary paperwork (e.g., bills of lading).
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (or be eligible for training).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) and no major violations.
- Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks.
- No prior driving experience required (we provide on-the-job training).
