Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking tires, lights, and fluid levels.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and proper securing methods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and comply with all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong commitment to defensive driving and safety standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
