Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict schedules and delivery timelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred (Must have a clean MVR).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual or automatic transmissions.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal working status.
