Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and status updates.
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current, valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities.
