Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in compliance with all FMCSA and company regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on schedule while providing exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding load status and delivery times.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel throughout Tampa, FL, and Georgia.
