Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Trucks/Tractor-Trailers) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and paperwork, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws to minimize risk and accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Clean driving record required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management and navigation skills.
