Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all freight is handled with care.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and safety schedules at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license required (commercial driver's license).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs (if applicable).
