Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the safety of goods during transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUIs or serious violations.
- At least 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
