Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and time management
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of cargo with attention to safety protocols
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and delivery confirmations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to handle cargo and withstand long driving hours
- Knowledge of Southern California road networks preferred
