Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional deliveries
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety systems before/after each shift
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs (eDOT compliant)
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (required)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and passing background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metro area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical certification current
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
