Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) following DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision and care, verifying documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely delivery and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Michigan roadways
- Strong communication and time management skills
