Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport cargo efficiently and on time.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driverâs License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examinerâs Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driverâs license and proof of insurance.
