Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on designated routes in and around the San Francisco, IL area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pick-ups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen eligibility.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Ability to pass a background check and physical examination.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
