Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication abilities
