Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver goods safely and on time to designated destinations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs in accordance with DOT guidelines.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while ensuring cargo security.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Must have a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
