Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes for on-time delivery across NM/TX/CO
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOLs, manifests)
- Ensure proper loading/unloading protocols with warehouse staff
- Adhere to strict safety standards and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Albuquerque-based residency required (no relocation assistance)
