Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and safety protocols
- Inspect vehicles before/during/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Perform minor roadside repairs and coordinate major maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Miami metro area and Florida highway systems
- DOT medical certification current and valid
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
