Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods on established routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while maintaining optimal delivery schedules
- Complete necessary paperwork including delivery confirmations and mileage reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
