Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or refrigerated) safely and efficiently
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Deliver freight to designated locations within strict time windows
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Ensure proper cargo securing and documentation
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Familiarity with Northern California routes
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
