Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight efficiently to designated locations within Colorado and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing fuel efficiency
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients regarding shipment status and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Complete necessary paperwork (BOLs, delivery receipts) with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Clean background check and no major preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Excellent time management and communication skills
