Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) for local and regional routes
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical safety and compliance before/during trips
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Virginia roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
