Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Plan and optimize transportation routes for efficiency
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo and secure shipments properly
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb into trailers
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight trips
