Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document compliance
- Load/unload freight using proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT safety standards
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in monthly safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems (ELD)
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of California transportation regulations
