Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch/clients
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Respond professionally to route changes or delivery exceptions
- Maintain clean driving record and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and hazardous materials handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
