Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods
- Maintain accurate logs and records of vehicle operations
- Inspect vehicles for safety and mechanical issues before/during trips
- Plan optimal routes ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and transportation regulations
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
