Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated trailers) within Louisville metro area and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Louisville metro area and regional highways
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
