Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van or refrigerated) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for regional routes and overnight stays
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Must be at least 21 years old
