Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while meeting tight deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Load/unload freight when necessary (no-touch freight available)
- Represent Denver Express Logistics professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and regional routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
