Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads properly.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including logbooks and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a satisfactory background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred, but we will train the right candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and physical examination.
