Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on all road conditions, including North Carolina routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securement and handling.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route updates.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including logs and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (with appropriate endorsements).
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
