Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers, flatbeds) throughout MA and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols during all transit operations
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules while maintaining accurate GPS tracking and logs
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with HOS requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proven experience operating multi-axle vehicles in urban environments
- Familiarity with Boston metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat preferred)
