Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Resolve delivery exceptions promptly and document all incidents
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends and handle irregular schedules
- Basic computer literacy for digital logs and communications
