Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver freight within Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate optimized routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance to dispatch
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Dallas area highways and local streets
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM shifts)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
