Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon completion of each stop.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) must be presented.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong knowledge of the Atlanta, Georgia area and local roadways.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
