Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated destinations on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, adhering to FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Securely load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is handled with care and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including ELD compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients at delivery sites.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable driving record.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
