Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently throughout the San Francisco metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Verify delivery addresses and maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any delivery concerns.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift boxes, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
