Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B CDL) to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle delivery inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current DOT medical card and clean driving record.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and navigation systems.
