Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner, strictly adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, Bill of Lading) as required by FMCSA regulations.
- Drive in all weather conditions and navigate various road types to meet delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean criminal background.
