Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A) in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Navigate routes and adhere to all traffic laws and safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including DVIRs and delivery receipts.
- Collaborate with dispatch to resolve any routing or delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
