Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time across designated California routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight distribution protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience in California
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of California's traffic laws and delivery regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
