Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B CDL vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Load/unload cargo with precision and maintain shipment integrity
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
