Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery trucks (Class A or B) to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated addresses in Fresno and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during every delivery interaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no recent DUI or major violations.
- Previous experience in truck driving, freight, or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading and driving for long hours.
