Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment to ensure safety during transit.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and document any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service (HOS) via Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License (US) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
