Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across assigned routes in the Miami and Florida area.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Prior experience in logistics or transportation preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and GPS navigation systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
