As a Night Shift Driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries while enjoying the flexibility and efficiency of night routes.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks on designated routes throughout Tampa and regional corridors.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety procedures.
- Must be willing to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
