Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over long-haul and regional routes to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle maintenance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate DOT-compliant electronic logging (ELD) records and mileage logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks during loading/unloading.
