Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) on highways and local routes within the Missouri and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
